Susanne Zapf: August 19th – 26th, 2018

Susanne Zapf sees herself as a flexible artist. “I take any kind of music seriously and like to interpret from very old to completely new music, as well to improvise or create performances.”

Right now she examines the physical relationship with her instrument in the violin-playing-body project. She was supported in 2017 by the unchool scholarship of the city of Poschiavo and since 2018 an artist scholarship of the Berlin Senate. She is a member of the Kammerakademie Potsdam, regularly plays with the MusikFabrik NRW and the Trio Catch.

In her solo program Die Stadt als Ornament she plays music by Boris Blacher and her own compositions.
